Because we don't really know what we "fancy" having a takeaway menu is a must.

Fish and chip shops:
Henley's of Wivenhoe, 9 Vine Parade, Wivenhoe, always appear to be winning some award or another, I will try them out in the next week or so and let you know! not rated, YET!
Fish N chick N can be found at the little shopping arcade on St Johns, they do GREAT fish & Chips (a bit too pricy and the mushy peas are a little watery) but my favourite from there is roasted half chicken. www.fishnchickn.co.uk 7/10
Pizza shops:
Pizza Hot 4 You. 22a East Hill, Colchester. 870080. I have tried these guys a couple of times and found nothing special worth reporting! I will visit over the next couple of weeks and report my findings. 5/10
Istanbul Delight, 9 st Botolphs St. Great freindly service. They do a house special to die for (Stips of Doner and Kofte kebab on warm pitta bread and covered in specially prepared sauce) or for pizza lovers the "hot n smelly", quick and friendly.www.istanbuldelight.co.uk Tel 579251

Thai takeaways:
Thai1 on East Hill, Colchester. House special King prawn butterfly is amazing as are the stuffed mussels. Fantastic food but a bit pricey! 7/10
Sandwiches:
Once again I am found lacking on the name front, but there is a shop on St Johns Rd near the junction with Parsons Rd, Colchester. they do a mega ham salad or hot beef sandwich. 7/10Miscellaneous:
